Glubes [glue-bees] Loft Townhouses

Environment friendly, community-minded living.

It’s all about leaving the car at home. We are all trying to do our part for the environment. The development team at Glubes Lofts believes in downtown North End living. We build unique housing projects that celebrate downtown urban living while striving to use the latest building technologies to minimize energy use. That’s good for the planet and good for your pocketbook. By reusing existing building materials, using energy efficient windows, insulated concrete walls and structural insulated panels, Glubes Loft Townhouses are where you want to live. Close to the things you want, so you can leave your car at home. Designed by Geoff Keddy and Associates,  with the exterior by Hal Forbes of Forbes Restoration Services the lofts are inspired with by the grow home concept pioneered by Avi Friedman of the McGill School of Architecture affordable homes program.

In the construction of the Townhouses, the entire project involved the adaptive reuse of the previous building and selective demolition provided a high percentage of reusable building materials.

The exterior of the Townhouses are a classic Georgian architectural style commonly found in historic areas of Halifax.
